This 2.7-liter Type 911/83 flat-six was originally produced for use in a RoW 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 and underwent a rebuild that was completed in December 2025. During the build, the engine was equipped with Carrera RS-specification Mahle pistons and cylinders, Carrera RS camshafts, and a Carrera RS-sourced distributor that was overhauled with a replacement cap and ignition cable. Various components were overhauled or replaced during the refurbishment.
