This is a real deal 1966 Chevelle SS 396. This car has been on non operational status in California since 1986. That means this car has been off the road nearly 2/3rds of its life. It recently came out of the estate of the long term owner and has a clean California title in my name. Finding a real deal 1966 Chevelle SS396 has always been difficult. Finding one for sale today in this condition is nearly unheard of.

This 1966 Chevelle SS 396 was built in Fremont, California. Both the VIN and trim tag on the firewall positively identify this as a true SS396 with the numbers "13817" starting the VIN and the body style section of the trim tag.  This car was built on the second week of March, 1966. It rolled off the assembly line painted Sandalwood Tan Metallic with black bucket seat interior. It came with many options including a 396/360HP engine, 4 speed manual transmission, bucket seats, center console, knee knocker tachometer, optional gauges, and more.
