1999 FERRARI 360 MODENA – PFMC Spec - LHD
I have been asked by my friend, and long time Ferrari owner, Martin Jones, to sell his Ferrari 360 Modena – PFMC Spec, on his behalf.
It is 1999 car sourced as left hand drive car from Zender in Germany. (LHD preferred for circuit racing)
Converted to PFMC O class car by Wren Classics (www.wrenclassics.com) in 2000.
Running in Wren Red / Yellow livery.
UK Registered (Registration number T290 CFG)
3 previous owners. (1 in Germany and two in the UK).
13233 miles.
Mot until September 2020.
All keys, Tools, etc.
Kent Hi Performance converted to MPH in 2018 (Recorded and documented).
Full Service History (see below) with stamped book.
Spec to approved “Pirelli Ferrari Classic Chalange” - O class, therefore:
Motor set to optimum spec, within standard tolerances.
Heat shielded air boxes.
Air diverter over exhaust.
Exhaust standard but lightened.
Engine management change up light.
Challenge rear grill.
Twin throttle cables.
Challenge trans computer.
Heavy duty clutch.
Suspension adjusted to Negative from end down 25mm rear about 15.
Blocked front wish bones.
Full FIA cage.
Lightened to Class O regulations therefore:
No carpets or insulation anywhere.
No air con compressor, evap, condenser, control matrix, drive system
No radio, speakers etc.
Carbon Fibre Momo Nascar seats.
Momo removable steering wheel.
Door cards present as is dash.
FIA on board Fire system.
Race brake pedal.
Remote Fire and ignition shut off (Updated to FIA spec last year).
Carbon fibre race disc pads.
Brake cooling ducts.
Radiator extra cooling.
Tow gear front and rear.
Pit lane remote timing sensors and Hotlap computer (with pit gear).
Speed pit sensor.
4 point Harnesses (Updated to FIA spec last year).
Campaigned in 2000, 2001 and 2002, in the Pirelli Ferrari Classic Challenge Series, track events in the UK and Europe.
2001 class O championship winner driven by Richard Smeeton.
2002 class O championship winner driven by John Taylor (Ferrari Collector)
Brass plaque on dash to commemorate.
In John Taylor’s private collection until 2017 when bought by Martin Jones.
On Hills for practice \ training 2018.
Martin gained approval as “a car of historic interest” to the FOC to run in the PFHC in 2019.
Campaigned in PF hill championship in 2019.
Full history, masses of it, including full race settings, times, pictures etc.
Looked after by Roger at “Kent Hi Performance Ferrari” in both John Taylor and Martin Jones’s ownership.
We are lead to believe that this unique car is the only F360 PFMC race car used on the road, and that it will be eligible to compete as a Classic in the Circuit races of the Challenge in 2022.
