History

Speedline Corse — the Italian competition-wheel house whose rims carried decades of WRC, F1 and touring-car programmes — built the model 2013 into gravel rallying's reference: a flow-formed alloy engineered for the specific violence of stage rallying, where a wheel is armour first and unsprung mass second. Works teams and customer programmes standardised on the design through the 90s and 2000s, and the pattern's descendants still equip the Rally2 era.

The engineering brief differs from circuit wheels entirely: rim profiles resisting square-edge impacts that would fold racing rims, bead retention under deflation, and tolerance of repeated refurbishment — because rally teams run wheel fleets in double figures per car and rotate them through refurb cycles as a matter of routine.

That fleet economy defines the market: 2013s and their siblings trade constantly in sets and singles across the rally world, priced by size (15-inch gravel and 18-inch tarmac families), condition tier (fresh refurb versus event-scarred) and authenticity — the model's fame having attracted lookalikes that matter for both safety and homologation paperwork.
