Description

For sale is a race-prepped 1,990cc BMW M10 inline-four, originally built by renowned UK specialist Lester Owen and later installed in a Chevron B16. The engine features a full suite of performance upgrades, including high-compression pistons, Arrow connecting rods, forged steel rockers, dry-sump lubrication, electronic ignition, stainless-steel exhaust header, and a lightweight clutch and flywheel. Induction is handled by dual 45 DCOE Weber carburetors that have been modified with 47mm bores for increased flow.

The motor was comprehensively overhauled in January 2019 by Marcovicci-Wenz Engineering (Ronkonkoma, NY) and has logged only ~13 hours of run time since. The sale includes a starter, billet gearbox adapter plate, ITG air filters, and dyno sheet.
