Description

This Ferrari V12 Colombo engine have been removed from a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE, and the 3.0-liter Tipo 128/F motor was rebuilt between 2016 and 2017. Work involved overhauling the cylinder heads, replacing the main and rod bearings, balancing the crankshaft, and installing Ross Racing forged pistons along with Ferrea Racing Components valves. The engine retains Ferrari-branded valve covers, intake manifolds, a water pump, a flywheel, and clutch components. Uninstalled equipment includes triple Weber 36 DCS carburetors with individual air cleaners as well as exhaust manifolds, dual distributors, twin Magneti Marelli ignition coils, a mechanical fuel pump, a generator, and a starter. The engine has not been utilized since the rebuild was completed.
