This listing is for a reproduction Hewland LG500/600 MK1 5 speed Transmission. The transmission is complete assembled with all new parts.
This reproduction Hewland LG 600 MK1 transaxle has been reproduced to be identical to the original Hewland.
All parts are exchangeable with the original ones.
We have made some improvements to the castings and finishes. Much better now.
The main case, bearing carrier, finger housing, rear cover and side plates are all new made of 356 T6 aluminum and all have been anodized in black. They are exact to the original ones and all parts are interchangeable.
All parts in this gearbox are new,gears bearings, studs, washers etc…
The differential is a LSD friction plates ramps are set up at 45/45
This box is perfect for any Can Am McLaren, Lola’s GT40 etc
