SURTEES TS8 #07 – F5000 – Peter Revson/Brian Redman

Here is a well-kept F5000 chassis of the 1970 Surtees TS8/#7. Great history and available now! Very rare to find a Surtees available, and with such history with famous drivers! Beautiful condition...

The car was built in 1970 as chassis #07, first raced by Peter Revson at the Quester Grand Prix at Ontario Motor Speedway. F1 cars vs F5000 cars. Won by Mario Andretti in a Ferrari!

Returned to England and raced primarily by Alan Rollinson. He won the 1971 Monza F5000 race with this car. Then imported to the USA by Brian Redman in the early 80's and restored by Brian. Our seller bought this car in 1985 and drove it for 15 to 20 vintage events. Displayed at Amelia Island in appx 2001 when Surtees was Grand Marshall/rear wing signed by JS at that event!

Car was sold early 2000's and our seller bought it back in 2019. Sellers last event at Road Atlanta a couple of years ago.

Seller moving this along to getting older, too much speed! The car had undergone a professional freshening which included suspension upgrades, gearbox removal and conversion to Weber carbs from fuel injection so now back to original spec.
